Cosplay Picnic

Saturday was our very first event, and a HUGE thank you to everyone who came. It was a success!

The weather was perfect, the food was great, and overall I think was a pretty great time.

I’m slightly disappointed however, that we didn’t have time to go over more games before the event. Of course other things in our own lives prevented us from doing so. But with our next event being a month away, we have more time to plan everything.

Despite how this one would’ve turned out, we still planned on having more events this year. We’ve planned as far as October for now. After that we’ll see how everything is weather wise, and that’ll determine if we’ll be doing anymore. The next two will be Picnics, like the last. And the third, we’re hoping to do a Halloween walk in Ottawa. Of course because some of us have prior plans, the walk will be on Thursday October 30th, rather then the 31st. We’re always always open to suggestions for our events, so post on the forum or our group page on Facebook with any ideas you have! :3

New forum

Our new Forum is officially up and running!

As some of you may not have noticed, we did have a small forum that came with our website. Unfortunately, using it would eat up more space from the site. So I decided to set us up with FreeForums :3

There’s still some changes that will likely be made (New boards, etc.). But the forum is officially open for posting!

100 Members & First Event

I’m happy to say, we’re finally having our first event! To start things off we’re going to go with a simple Cosplay Picnic. Of course, like many other picnics, cosplaying is always optional. Games and such will be planned. Jackie and I will likely be going over that next week sometime. Originally we planned on having the picnic at Mooney’s Bay, but since there are other events happening there that day, we will be having the picnic at Vincent Massey Park :3

Last month we reached 100 members ♥ And as many of you know, Jordan made a deal with the Leary’s that when we hit 100 members he would get shot with an Airsoft Grenade Launcher. Just last week he finally did that shoot, of course we were passed 100 members at that point and up to 111. So because of that, and Jordan’s laziness, the Leary’s threw in their Airsoft Shotgun as well. For anyone who hasn’t seen the video(s) yet, you can check them out here -

Temporary Home For OVA

And we’re up!

As you can all see, we have ourselves a website! Yay! Now, it’s nothing absolutely uber fantastic. But, as the title says, this is our Temporary home. So until we can afford to get an actual paid website up and running, we at least have something other than Facebook in the mean time. So bare with us while the site is under construction, and if we happen to be unavailable due to exceeded limit or some other nonsense. Now go bookmark us!
